Velvet’s working relationship with Judy in various organizations: Orangeville Business Club, Chamber of Commerce women’s networking luncheons enhances her consultation status for WLW. Her career of over 35 years has been in banking, security systems, insurance and investment.

Jodi (Jo) Alcorn
Event Artistic Designer
Jo’s professional background assists Judy with the themes and visual atmosphere of WLW presentations. Her expertise spans both residential and commercial interior designs, home staging, event planning, window displays and design consulting.
Jo is a huge advocate for supporting women in the workplace. Jo strongly supports Judy’s vision to spread the word of Women Living Well. The organization can inspire, educate and give back to women in their community. “We can learn from each other’s triumphs and tribulations become stronger and more determined with our options in life and business. Natalie Martene
Administrative Assistance
Natalie is assisting with the organization of the documentation and information. She’s focused on procedures, time management and organizational skills.
Women Living Well will help women to enhance their skills and abilities they already hold. It will also add new found abilities through networking and meeting women of all ages who can enhance our world. Judy’s strength to meet difficult situations with a commitment towards success has showed Natalie anything is possible. Organization, positive attitude and desire to ‘make life a better place to live’ has showed her there always possibilities and opportunities.

With more than 10 years in the tourism and hospitality industry, Tammy’s launch of the Snap Dufferin was a natural fit. Her first event for her first issue of the paper was the inaugural event for Women Living Well – Over the Moon – in September of 2007.
Besides being an active participant in Women Living Well, she sits on the Board of Directors of the Dufferin Chamber & the Chamber Membership committee. Tammy is a huge supporter of women who follow their dream – where ever that path might lead them – home, school or business. More Erma Bombeck than glamour girl – she enjoys her family, friends, her ever growing collection of dogs and cats and her work.

Patricia Donaldson

Patricia brings a commitment to excellence in all aspects of her life. Her years of retail experience at Home Hardware, then as a manager of Solar Swim and now currently as co-owner have allowed her to develop outstanding problem solving and communication skills.
Patricia brings a clear vision and a strong sense justice to any issue she takes on. Patricia can identify with the female entrepreneur and truly knows the value that women bring to the success of any business. Her creative flare is evident in her attention to detail and design from her store to her home and enjoys the challenges of decorating for each season. Patricia is a strong team player and pleased to share her experience and expertise with the WLW team. An active participant in Women Living Well, Joyce is also an executive member in Greater Dufferin Area Estate Planning Council (GDAEPC) and participates in a number of other organizations. She believes in giving back to the community and has volunteered in numerous charitable functions over the years. It is her strong belief that the sharing of talents and life experiences makes us who we are. Women Living Well is about all that.
Joyce’s career in the financial services industry spans more than 25 years where she’s held a number of different roles. Her background in finance lends itself perfectly in helping Judy with the business structure of Women Living Well. She will be assisting in the co-ordination of some events

Mary Lawson
Administrative & Event Consultant
Mary was President of the Canadian Home Builders Association in 2004. She is Vice President and General Manager of Dalerose Homes in Orangeville, Ontario. Dalerose is a builder of custom and semi-custom homes as well as retirement communities.
Mary resides in Orangeville and is a member of the Board of Directors of Theatre Orangeville and is involved in the town’s Business Improvement and Development activity. Mary has just been asked to chair the building committee for the new home for the Hills of Headwaters Visitor Centre and Greater Dufferin Chamber of Commerce Dalerose Country Homes

Margery Cruise

Margery has been supporting Judy and the WLW team with coaching, facilitation, goal setting and project planning. She likes to use her expertise from her career in Management Consulting to coach entrepreneurs to start up and grow their businesses.
Margery and her husband Bob Collin own Winemakers, an on-premise winemaking business located at 283 Broadway. Come to a WLW event for a chance to win a bottle of wine as a door prize!
Margery is active in the community including volunteering for Community Theatres, Theatre Orangeville Youth programs and The Orangeville Follies in support of Choices Youth, as well as contributing prizes for fundraising local events.
Margery is truly a ‘Woman Living Well’ as her passions include trail running, healthful eating, reading literature and socializing.
